Donating a Vehicle is Easy!
Donating your vehicle is an easy 3-step process!
1. Call the local Volunteers of America Greater Baton Rouge at 225-344-CARS or toll-free 1-888-747-6749 for more information and to schedule pick up of your vehicle, title and keys. You can also start the donation process online by clicking here. You will need to have your title in front of you to answer some questions about your vehicle.
2. Our Vehicle Donations Coordinator will help you navigate through the application process and will work with you to schedule the pickup of your vehicle.
3. The tow service will provide a temporary receipt at time of pick up. We’ll handle transfer of your title, and then mail you a final receipt acknowledging your charitable contribution—you can use this receipt on your itemized tax return.
