Affordable Housing in Southwest Louisiana
Volunteers of America has two programs in the Lake Charles area that are providing low-income housing solutions for the elderly. To qualify, individuals or couples must meet age requirements (62+), income requirements and be able to live independently. Rent is based on applicant's income and subsidized by the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development. Small pets may be allowed with a security deposit.
