Growing old should not be a worry.  Many of the elderly in our community often feel unsafe staying alone, or in many cases they cannot afford to live alone.

Volunteers of America offers residential services for the elderly.  Many of these communities host yearly health fairs, volunteer groups host BINGO night and there are church and prayer groups available as well as other recreational activities.

For elderly individuals with disabilities, Volunteers of America provides a Support Coordination Program.

These communities provide low-income housing for persons over the age of 62 who are able to live independently.
