Louisiana is ranked number four in AIDS case rates throughout the country. Baton Rouge ranked 2nd for new HIV/AIDS case rates among the largest metropolitan areas in the United States. HIV/AIDS does not discriminate. We are seeing more people of all ages and ethnicities who are living with the disease. Volunteers of America provides support to those who want to know their status, as well as those who are learning to cope with their status.
