Senior Living and Care
No matter what age you are, Volunteers of America Greater Baton Rouge’s senior services and programs are designed to promote health and independence. We provide an array of services to help our senior citizens age in place, find safe and affordable housing, or access high-quality personal and medical care. Like all of our services, our programs for seniors focus on the individual. We make every effort to recognize and respect personal goals and work cooperatively with each individual and their personal support system to reach those goals.
In the Baton Rouge area and the Lake Charles areas, Volunteers of America provides affordable housing solutions for low-income seniors that promote active, healthy and independent lifestyles. Unique senior communities enhance the quality of life for residents by providing a safe place for residents to thrive and age in place.
Our Support Coordinators assist qualified seniors with obtaining a full range of services to improve quality of life and remain in their homes and monitor service provision to ensure quality care is provided. Seniors work with their family or support team and a Support Coordinator to develop their own comprehensive plan of care.
